Seedling update day! I looked for the largest leaves on each for a quick comparison picture here, but it’s always fun to try to find the distinct differences between the strains as they develop.

Berry Snowcone (BSC) has the largest and thickest fan leaves (so far) and seems to be the most dense and robust, Cherry Meow (CM) is close behind with many similarities but may not grow as think, Cat Lady (CL) is less “bushy” than the other strains so far with tall stalks poking out here and there, Mountain Mango (MM) has the skinnier fan leaves overall.

These are our Super CBD clones... not doing as wel

These are our Super CBD clones... not doing as well as our seedlings. They started flowering (way too early!) when we transplanted them and placed them outdoors. This is typically a response to stress. The move for these clones changed their light cycle enough to cause them to prematurely flower. They went from being greenhouse grown (with a longer light cycle) to outdoor grown (with some shade time in later afternoon) and that is stressful for the plants. We also repotted them and switched them to the nutrients we prefer, (all natural and likely lower concentrations), AND THEN had some clots in the irrigation while we were in Tennessee and now they are really struggling. 😬 🤞 On the upside... if they begin to repair themselves and go back into vegetation, these will be some incredible flowers one they’re fully developed! Even these tiny buds already smell incredibly delicious!
